I like country music. I’ve lived in big cities my whole life, so listening to music about the slower, simpler country life is a nice change of pace. It almost makes me want to visit the South, except that I’m not sure how well gay people are accepted there yet.
Here’s a great new song to which I’m mildly addicted (I can’t embed the YouTube link, so I have to link to the song the old fashioned way). It’s called “Small Town Southern Man” by Alan Jackson. The song is a little more traditional than what I usually listen to, but the lyrics are really good.
My favorite country singer is Brad Paisley, so maybe I’ll post a song by him sometime.
